The Cape May Bird Observatory is one of nine New Jersey Audubon Society centers. We have two centers in southern New Jersey. Our Northwood Center is located at 701 East Lake Drive overlooking Lake Lily in Cape May Point. The Center for Research & Education is located about 30 minutes north of Cape May at 600 Route 47 North in Goshen (just outside of Cape May Court House). NJ Audubon Society is a privately supported, not-for-profit, statewide membership organization and has no connection with National Audubon Society.

Amenities
We're more than just birds! Our Nature Shop is open year round from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We are closed on Tuesdays, June through August but open 7-days, September & October. We carry a full selection of books for adults and children, specialty gifts including plush Audubon birds, Charley Harper gifts, clothing, and the finest selection of binoculars and spotting scopes for the nature lover in everyone. CMBO is the "CENTER" for natural history information, local sightings and reference materials including "Places to Eat, Shop, Stay, and Play" the official nature guide for Cape May!
